2 or 3 Day Canoe/Rafting Trip

5-50,scouts in rapids-walpack bend.jpg (10822 bytes)Come join us for one of our Rafting or Canoeing Adventures down the beautiful Delaware River! Our journey will take us through the spectacular "Walpack Bend"where the river has cut its way through the Kittatinny Mountain Range millions of years ago. As we paddle through this remote area keep a sharp eye for hawks, eagles, beavers, deer, bears, and other wildlife that frequents the river's edge. As we round the final bend, hold on as we bounce in the Sambo-Mary Rapid. At the end of the rapid, we will land boats and take a ride on the wild side as we "Rump-Bump" through rapids again. (rump-bumping is floating through the rapids with your life jacket on! It's better than any water park, but is totally optional.) Another rapid and we are at camp.

5-50,campsite on labar.jpg (26760 bytes)After your day on the river, we will make camp in the plush green forest along the river's edge. At camp you will have time to hike, fish, swim, explore, or just relax with your friends. As you unwind, your guides will rustle up a home-style dinner that's sure to please. Later we'll stoke up the fire for an evening of river tales and talk.

In the morning the smells of breakfast fill the air as we prepare for another fun-filled day on the river. As we paddle leisurely down the river, we will stop off at the "Jump Rock" for a refreshing break. You will have the opportunity to jump from the top of the 10 - foot boulder into the cool waters of the Delaware, or take an "Eddy Ride" as it floats you around and around in a giant circle. After a hardy lunch, it's off to the pickup area and the end of the trip. The memories of this fun and the beautiful river are sure to stay with you forever.
