Single and multi-day rentals are available through Pack Shack Adventures, Inc., using the latest in Cross Country Ski Equipment. We use both Trakā and Karhuā skis, featuring a wax free base, for a hassle free day of skiing; fleece lined Alpinaā boots to keep your feet toasty all day long; New Nordic Norm, automatic binding system for easy in and out; and Exelā fiberglass poles.

Rent the Atlasā Back-Country series, from Pack Shack Adventures, Inc. This snow shoe was rated editor's choice from Backpacker ć Magazine. Designed to be user friendly, and to take back country abuse. Snowshoe rentals also include Exelā fiberglass poles.

Lessons

Lessons for Cross Country Skiing are offered Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and by appointment, snow permitting. Reservations are required. Come and enjoy this fast growing, fun way to enjoy the winter season. Our experienced Cross Country Staff will give you a pleasant introduction to the sport. Pack Shack Adventures, Inc. offers family lessons, group lessons, private and semi private lessons. Reservations can be made by calling (570) 424 - 8533.

Guided Day Tours

Pack Shack Adventures, Inc. offers a wide variety of winter day trips and tours, for both skiers and snowshoers. Tours are generally offered on weekend and holidays, with sufficient snow. Midweek tours are available upon request. Advance reservations are required by calling
(570) 424 -8533. To insure proper fit of our rental equipment, height, weight, and shoe size of each participant will be needed when making reservations.

	Snowshoe Hikes - Geared for beginners and intermediates, snowshoe hikes are the latest way to experience the wonders of winter. Hikes are conducted on gentle, rolling terrain through woods and farmlands of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area. Length of the hike will vary depending on the group. Join in on one of our scheduled trips, or bring your own group. No experience necessary.
	Cross Country Ski Tours - Pack Shack Adventures, Inc. offers both half and full day local tours. Tours average from three to seven miles in length, depending on group. On the full day tour, trail side lunch is included. Tours may be done with your own equipment or ours.
	Moonlight Tours - For a truly unique outdoor experience, join us for one of our moonlight tours. Tours are offered on either snowshoes or cross country skis. A trailside hot drink and a snack are served along the way. These trips are offered on Friday and Saturday nights, with a full moon.

Two day Ski/Snowshoe Camping Trips

Pack Shack Adventures, Inc. currently offers two day winter camping trips, by skis or snowshoes, for scouts and other outing groups only. For details check out our scouting page.

Trail Information

Although Pack Shack does not have trails on our property, we do have access to several trail systems within a few minutes drive - most are in the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Trails are also available in most State Parks, Forests & Gamelands. For Trail maps, please stop into our store location in Delaware Water Gap.

Lodging & Meals

Lodging is available in town at The Ramada Inn, Glenwood Motel or The Shepperd House Bed & Breakfast . Several other motels are close by. Meals are available in town at The Skillet, The Ramada Inn, Water Gap Dinner, Deer Head Inn, The Trail's End Café, or Pizza is also available nearby. For a list of lodging in the area click here.
